Sturgis families, we are excited to see you all as we enter the final week before school starts. This week we have a variety of Back-to-School events and open houses, which we have listed below for your convince. Our hope is that this webpage will provide you with useful information as you prepare for the upcoming school year. Our first day of school for the 2024-25 school year is a half-day on Monday, August 19th.

SHS Freshman Focus
Freshman focus is at Sturgis High School on Monday, August 12th from 10am-1pm, and the event provides 9th grade students with the opportunity to receive their Chromebooks and schedules, and enjoy Taco Loco, Culver's ice cream, lots of prizes, and of course, lots of fun! SMS 6th Grade Walk-Thru
The 6th Grade Walk-Thru is at Sturgis Middle School on Monday, August 12th from 11:30am-1pm, and the event provides 6th grade students with the opportunity to try your locker and walk your schedule.

School Open Houses
-Congress, Wall & Wenzel Schools on Wednesday, August 14th from 4-6pm
-Sturgis High School on Wednesday, August 14th from 5-7pm
-Eastwood School on Thursday, August 15th from 4-6pm
-Sturgis Middle School on Thursday, August 15th from 5-7pm

Taher Community Food Sampling Event
This event is open to the public, and provides the community with the opportunity to sample Taher school lunch offerings. A full salad bar & fruit bar as well as 4-5 different lunch menu items will be available to sample. This event will be held in the cafeteria at Sturgis High School on Friday, August 16th from 11am-1pm.
