Welcome to Congress School!
I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. My name is Teresa Belote and, in 1996, I began my teaching career as a special education teacher. It was a dream come true and I quickly realized that teaching, for me, was so much more than a job - it was a passion. Soon after, I was hired as a special education teacher for Sturgis Public Schools. Since that time, I've been fortunate to work in this district as a special education teacher, a fourth grade teacher, a teacher consultant, and, finally, a principal at this wonderful school.
When I'm not at Congress School, you might find me helping with the concession stand at the soccer fields or at the high school during a basketball game. My children both attend Sturgis Public Schools and I love to help with their activities.
Beginning in 2007, I also became the principal at Wenzel School.
Again, welcome to our Congress Family. I will make every effort to ensure a successful school experience for your child!
