The Future of the Endowment Fund
While grants from the Fund have remained centered on the teacher mini grants, there are really no limits as to the programs and projects that could be funded, as long as the broad purpose of enhancing educational opportunities for students is adhered to.
Whether the Fund were to award more mini grants per year, increase the amount of each mini grants or broaden the scope of the grants to include building wide projects or department projects, there are unlimited potential for the Fund and what it can do for education in the district.
The formula is simple: the more the value of the Fund grows, the more money that becomes available for grant making.
